Kasia Molga is a media artist, environmentalist, hactivist, technologists, designer and creative coder, working on intersection of art, science and technologies. She focuses on exploring various aspects of transmitting and manifesting real time environmental data and how that data can be represented as  a mean of communication of the entities it is taken from, thus giving a beginning to a dialogue between viewers and that entity.

She does that by appropriating Open Source technologies and techniques in creating interactive and immersive work, which questions our attitudes to nature and our position in the environment in the context of climate change and unforeseen futures.

She has exhibited among others: FILE Festival 2013 (BR), V&A Museum (UK), SHIFT (CH), Ars Electronica 2012 (AT), TRANSNATURAL (NL), Meta.Morf (NO), ISEA (Turkey), Translife Media Arts Triennial (China), MIS (BR).

Kasia was a founding member of World Wilder Lab Collective and Protei Collective, holds MA in Interdisciplinary Design Studies (London University of Arts). She lectures, present at conferences and publish papers regularly.

Kasia will talk about various ways and methods of capturing a real time data, its place in arts and design and she will introduce VVVV programming environment in this context.
