Katherine Boxall is the course leader for the BA (Hons) Fashion Management and Marketing course at UCA Epsom. Katherine has been a senior lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts for 14 years. Katherine began her career at UCA on the Fashion Promotion and Imaging course and after 7 years was asked to co-write the award winning Fashion Management & Marketing course.
She graduated from De Montfort University in Design Management majoring in Fashion. Following graduation Katherine went onto work in Advertising, account managing for Harvey Nichols, Oxo Tower, Schuh, BMW, Mercedes, Audi and many major blue chip and FMCG brands. Then moved into Global Marketing Communications for IBM before moving into higher education.
At UCA Epsom Katherine plays a leading role in developing strong industry links for the course to work on live briefs for the students with brands such as Whistles, Markham ,BDA, Mind, Mencap and John Lewis. Katherine leads units on contemporary fashion marketing and experiential retailing. In 2010-11 Katherine received a Teaching Excellence Award and has been a fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2012.
