To help celebrate Farnham Craft Town, The School of Craft and Design at UCA is collaborating with Lynne Dick, Director of Making Space, on a series of design and making taster days. Gifted and able tutors, technicians and artists in residence will deliver a series of innovative making sessions for groups of up to 10 participants.

The workshops have been designed for beginners through to professional practitioners and will be complemented by lunchtime talks by Artists in Residence on a series of related topics. The processes and materials covered in the workshops will include printed textiles, ceramics, metalwork and jewellery.

Please book a place early if you would like to attend these rare and wonderful workshops.

Workshops available include:

  • Enamelling
  • Ring making
  • Heat transfer printing
  • Texture & colour on clay

Cost: £10 for a half day, £20 for a full day.

Morning workshop: 10.00am - 12.30pm.

Afternoon workshop: 1.30 - 4.00pm. 

Lunchtime talks by practitioners.

Refreshments provided. We advise attendees to bring a packed lunch.
